Morbidly Obese resorts to Internet Auctions for Surgery

Del_krueger_weight_loss_surgery What is going on with the insurance companies? Don’t they realize that the expense to maintain a person who has diabetes, Sleep Apnea, high blood pressure , high cholesterol, has to sleep with a CPAP machine, has to take medicines like Crestor and Lisinopril for the rest of his life… is much more expensive than a one time Weight Loss Surgery?

Today I came across an article on The State Journal-Register from Springfield, IL (Read Here) about Del Kruger a 450lbs heavy, 57 BMI, “insurance company denied” human being.

His story and effort to raise money for his operation is so compelling, I decided to support him, and I hope you will do so also. You can find his blog here, and his eBay auctions to raise money for his surgery here.

As I write, I am in the process of contacting Del so he can update us on his progress so I can share it with you.
