J&J wants Employers to Cover Obesity Surgery

The new head of Johnson & Johnson's surgical-device unit is campaigning to convince employers to cover an increasingly popular but pricey surgery for obesity.

Well that should not be a surprise, because Johnson & Johnson is one of the leading provider of bariatric products, those used by surgeons to perform Gastric Bypass and Lap Band operation. So, this move is more on the business side (well, after all, they are a business). Anyway, if they succeed and it is the end-user who really is getting the benefit, I am totally with it!
