Online Calorie Counting made Very Easy
I had no idea that a Tall cup of regular Starbucks coffee latte had 204 calories compared to only 126 calories on the non-fat version. If I had done this simple research earlier in my life, I have had saved a lot of unnecessary calories. Of course I know that non-fat milk has fewer calories than whole milk, but well, you know, it’s just a cup of coffee, not a big deal… but guess what, it all adds up.
I am now one year post-op and 106Lbs lighter. And I am at that stage where I really have to worry about my caloric intake and I have make that extra effort to watch what I eat. During the first months after my procedure, I just couldn’t eat much, now, well, it is much easier for me to eat and tolerate food. This is why it is so important to change your lifestyle, because you want the weight to be off for life, not only for the first months or years.
I found this great tool online called CalorieConnect.com that allows you to research all the nutrients and calorie content of almost every food you can imagine. It is so easy to use, so intuitive and so simple, that it is a winner. You can even create a personal profile and be part of this free online wellness service.
